Obituary of Giancarlo Costantini

Giancarlo (John) Costantini passed after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is remembered by his loving wife of 39 years Lorna (nee Dickie), son Andrea & wife Marie, son Carlo & wife Karen, daughter Lelia & husband Matthew, daughter Irene, sister Maria Vittoria Sorgente with her daughters Marilu D’Amore, Pina Taraba and Anna Sheridan, brother Robert and wife Chris with their children Sara and Dan, uncle Franceso Mancinelli and wife Pina, brother-in-law David Dickie with wife Bev and their daughters Merritt and Marlo, brother-in-law Robert Dickie with wife Lynn and their children Adam and Megan - as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives from Italy, Canada and Argentina. The family wishes to thank everyone for their support and kindness, in particular Dr. Tom Greavette. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 2 - 4 & 7 -9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s Church 272 Vine St. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you offer a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
