Obituary of Ljuba Pisek

Pisek, Ljuba - Passed peacefully in her 66th year on Monday April 23, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Preceded by her husband of 27 years Stanley Pisek and survived by husband Tony Blazic. Loved by her sons Daniel (Patricia) and William (Kelly) and adored by her grandchildren, Riley, Bennett, Natalie and Evan. Dear sister of Tanya (John) and fondly remembered by her nephew, Marko and niece, Maiya. Ljuba will be missed by her many friends and fondly remembered by the Slovenian community. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday April 25, 2012 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Walker Family Cancer Centre.
