Obituary of Helen Stokes

Stokes, Helen Peacefully at Henley House in St. Catharines on Tuesday May 25, 2010. In her 92nd year, Helen H. Stokes (nee Cook), Beloved wife of the late Walter Stokes. Loving mother of Peter, Marylyn (Joseph Dupuis), Walter (Deborah), John, William, and Tim (Susan). Predeceased by her daughter Terri. Lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen was a dedicated member of the Catholic Women’s League for 52 years. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel , 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday May 27, 2010 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Julia Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines on Friday May 28, 2010 at 10am. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 7:30pm. The Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill. Memorial donations to the Catholic Women’s League at St. Julia Church would be appreciated by the family.
