Johnson, Marita Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital surrounded by her family on Wednesday February 24, 2010. In her 58th year, Marita Johnson, loving mother of Bobbi Johnson (Jim Batt), Francine (William Shimizu Obee), Jill Shimizu (Glenn Winterstein) and Dale King. Loving grandmother of ten grandchildren. Dear sister Lowena Johnson, Rodger Johnson, Mina Key, Laverne Johnson. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Hubert Johnson and two sisters Marlene Henry and Hilda Smoke. Marita was a licensed women’s supervisor with the Pentecostal Fellowship/ I.B.O.C.G. and the Native American Outreach Fellowship. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines on Saturday February 27, 2010 from 9 to 11am. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday February 27, 2010 at 11am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines.
