King, James Korean War Veteran Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, March 23, 2015. In his 81st year, James Edward King, husband of Elaine King (nee Fitzgerald). Loving father of Debbie Edgar (Todd Mallory), Velvet King, Shawn Fitzgerald (Corrine), Jamie King and Jimmy King (Michelle). Loved grandfather of James, Jasmine, Jake, Riley and Cohen. Great grandfather of J’von. Fondly remembered by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. Members of the Korean War Veteran’s Niagara District Unit 15 are requested to attend a memorial service on Friday, March 27 2015 at 10:45 a.m. in the funeral home. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
