Obituary of Norman Lloyd Zwierschke

ZWIERSCHKE, Norman Lloyd 'Norm' - Peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital, surrounded by family, Norm Zwierschke passed away on Nov. 1 at the age of 83. Beloved Pa to Alyssa, Natalie, Sarah, and Zachary, father to Cheryl (John), Kristine (Chris), and Karen (Chris). Norm was predeceased by his first wife of 32 years, Connie, his brother Larry, and his sister Louise. He is survived by his second wife of 24 years, Elizabeth, his sister Donna and his nieces and nephews. Norm was an avid golfer, bowler, pilot and motorcycle enthusiast in his youth. In his career as a Master electrician, Norm worked on the construction of a well known Niagara landmark as well as at General Motors for more than 30 years. In retirement, Norm enjoyed travelling making many trips to PEI and countries like Ireland, Scotland, and Portugal. His family would like to express their gratitude to all his caregivers and the doctors and nurses at St. Catharines General Hospital. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. A private celebration will be held for friends and family.
