Gasbarini, Mary Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the St.Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, June 28, 2018. In her 93rd year, Mary Laura Gasbarini (nee DiMaurizio), beloved wife of the late Joseph Gasbarini. Loving mother of the late Linda (Vince Torelli),Michael (Lyn), Joanne (Ted Peters) and Dino (Jasper). Loving Nanny of Marc (Toni), Sandra (Luca), Brian , Eliza (Jeremy), Marissa (Christofer), Lauren (Kenny) and Justin. Loved Great Nanny of Vincent, Alexa, Anthony, Emilie, Michael and Alessia. Dear sister of Anne (Jack Halliday) and Dino DiMaurizio (late Josephine). Fondly remembered by her cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gabriel and Francesca, sister Leda (Mario Lorito) and brother Ugo (Jean). Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, July 3, 2019 at 7:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 67 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-3964) on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 10:30am. Rite of committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to either the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
