Obituary of Joyce Mary Philomena De Souza

Dr. Joyce Mary Philomena de Souza (nee Donnelly) died peacefully at home on June 21, 2023. Loving wife of Dr. Henry de Souza for 61 years. Predeceased by her parents, brother Tom and sister Joan. Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews around the world. Joyce practiced medicine in Ireland, the U.K. and Kingston and St. Catharines in Canada. We’ll always remember her as a petite person with big energy! A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 11 am at Garden City Funerals & Cremations, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (formerly Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel), with a service to follow at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation in her name to a charity of your choice.
