Collins, Cecile - Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2017.In her 90th year after a life of service, Cecile Jeanne-D’Arc Collins (nee Gingras. born in Ste. Ubalde, P.Q.),beloved wife of the late Albert A. Collins (1987). Loving mother of Gerald “Jay” (Elaine), Diane, Mike (Anne), Rene (Cindy), David, and Daniel (Jennifer). Beloved grandmother of Christopher, Jessica, Joshua, Victoria, Thomas, Mathieu, Sara, Shawn, Jessie, Ethan and Justin. She will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings in Quebec and very fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 6pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 1:30pm. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
