Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday December 1, 2008. In her 73rd year, Mollie Patricia Lavelle, beloved mother of Andrew and his wife Lynne , Stephen and his wife Marylou. Loving grandmother of James, Christopher, Jason, Robyn, Stephanie, Leigh-Anne and Ryan. Great grandmother of Kala, Austin, Jordan, Riely, Darrien, Liam, Kennedy , Noah, Joshua, Jenna and Staci. Dear sister of Anthony, of England. Special thanks to Dr. Hughes and the Palliative Care staff, Red Cross Services and Hospice Care. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (39 Court Street, St. Catharines 905-686-6584) on Friday December 5, 2008 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Catherine of Alexandria (67 Church St., St. Catharines) on Saturday December 6, 2008 at 11am. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 3:30pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
