Obituary of Alain Guitard

Guitard, Alain - Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Alain Guitard, aged 59 year. Loving husband of Johanne Drapeau. Loving father of Bradley Laplante, Michelle Guitard (Andrew Burgess), Alain Guitard Jr. (Lynda Menard) and Jean-Philippe Guitard (Miranda Kusznier). Loved Grandpa of Jessica, Brandon, Areia, Gavin, Chloe, Xavier and Kaiden. Dear brother of Christianne (Sylvain) and Solange (late Michel). Fondly remembered by Chelsea Devilliers, his many friends, his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Joseph, and by his parents Claude Guitard and Denise Bertrand. Special thanks to Homecare Nurse Jen. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday March 9, 2015 at 11am. Memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
