Obituary of Roy Culp

Culp, Roy ~ On October 31, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital passed away into the arms of His Lord after a brief illness. In his 78th year, Roy Edward Culp, loving husband of his late wife Mary. Dear brother of Donna Crawford (late Wayne) and John Culp (Lucy). brother-in-law of Bertilla Rodriguez (John). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Helen and Roy Sr., a sister Barbara Stevenson and a brother Robert. Roy taught both elementary and high school for many years. Roy was always a great help to the poor as evidenced by his faithful and active involvement with the Knights of Columbus, 2nd & 3rd Degrees and the 3rd Order Carmelites. He served as lector at the St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 38 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday November 3, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral, 67 Church St., St. Catharines (905-684-3964) on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
