Obituary of Ljudmila Bartol

Bartol, Ljudmila - "Mila" (nee Otonicar) Passed away peacefully on April 12, 2019 in her 99th year. Mother of Philip (Terry) Bartol. Grandmother of Cody Bartol, great grandmother of Hayden. Predeceased by her companion of 25 years, Elles Nemeth (2010). Mila will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Mila was born in Loski-Potok, Slovenia in 1921 and immigrated to Canada at the age of 15. Mila was a proud business woman; Mila's Beauty Salon, as well as a long time member of Slovenian Club Bled. Mila enjoyed singing, was an active member of St. Mary's Church Choir as well as the Chapel Singers. The family wishes to thank the support workers and Dr. Alnhisi for their excellent care. Visitation will be held at Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 9am until 10:45am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 169 St. Paul Cres., St. Catharines (905-682-3843) on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11am. Reception to follow at Bled Hall, Beamsville. If desired, memorial donations to Caring Partners St. Catharines would be appreciated by the family.
