Obituary of Frank Caplan

Caplan, Franklin Passed peacefully at Henley House in St. Catharines on Sunday, February 24, 2019. In his 82nd year, Franklin Caplan, beloved husband of Dina Caplan. Loving father of Ellesa (Michael) Hunter, Jonathan Wong. Loved Zaida of Arianna and Kai. Dear brother of Sheila Sable. Fondly remembered by his nieces. Frank was a primary school teacher with the former Lincoln County Board of Education. Frank served on many boards including Science and Engineering Fair, a chairman of the Niagara Community Foundation, a chairman with the St. Catharines Museum and the St. Catharines Heritage Committee. Funeral service will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 12noon. Interment in B’nai Israel Cemetery. Memorial donations to B’nai Israel Congregation or Caplan Family Anniversary Legacy Fund (905-684-8688) would be appreciated by the family
