Obituary of Mario Joseph Louis Provost

Provost, Mario Joseph Louis It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario on October 11, 2021 at the age of 83 at the Welland Hospital. Loving husband of Claudette for 57 wonderful years. Proud father of Marc (Michele), Claude (Richelle) and Julie. Beloved grandpapa of Andy (Michelle), Bianca, Clarice (Shiv), Sydney and Jordan and great-grandpi of Jayla. Survived by his brother-in-law Jaques. Predeceased by his parents Phydime and Alice Provost and his siblings Colette (Roy), Bruno (Evelyn), Lise (Henri), Pierrette (Jacques). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Mario worked 30+ years at General Motors before retiring in 2001. He was an avid bowler for much of his lifetime; and in this same year, he achieved a perfect score of 300. Mario enjoyed countless family activities and made numerous friends throughout his lifetime; he was loved by all. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, from 10AM-12PM with a celebration of his life at 12PM. A private interment will take place at a later date.
