Obituary of Rita Green

GREEN, Rita Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95 at the Linhaven home on July 24, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Roy Green (1996). Proud mother of Howard (Kathryn), Ron (Mary), Randy (Ann), Rick and the late Sharon Gleason (2021). Loving grandmother of Christian (Melissa), Mark (Natasha), Corey, Lindsay (Erick), Rick Jr. (Maggie), Beth (Jonathan) and 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her brother Leo (Sharon Desjardins), her sister Ann (Bob) Jamison and her sisters-in-law Betty (the late Albert) Green, Greta (Eddie) Shaw and brother-in-law Arthur. Predeceased by her siblings Les, Patrick, Harvey, Peter, Margaret and Patricia. She will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 29, 2021 from 10AM until 12PM. A celebration of her life will follow at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines, L2R 4R8. Rite of committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude towards the staff of Linhaven Home for all of the care and support that they provided.
