It is with immense sadness, through tears, we announce Jeannette Pawluk, dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, in her 90th year at Linhaven Long Term Care Home, in St. Catharines, Ontario., Born in 1933 in North Bay, Ontario, moving to St. Catharines in 1948, working at downtown restaurants in the 1950’s and later the St. Catharines General Hospital. A dedicated mother, first and foremost, gave her life, strength and love to her children and family, with not a selfish cell in her body. Now, after a long illness is walking with the angels. Predeceased by parents, Hubert (Pat) and Marie Lebel, husband George Pawluk, sons Freddie and Robert Pawluk, friend Lawrence Dixon, and brothers Armand and Lawrence Lebel. Leaving behind daughter Patricia Poirier, Granddaughters Stephanie and Jennifer Poirier, and Great Grandchildren Tiffany, Victoria and Olivia Poirier, and Ethan and Emily Rail. All of these she loved and cherished. A lover of God, family and politics, in that order! A strong woman, a fierce Mama Bear. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
